DESCRIPTION:The Westport Community Band will perform at Levitt Pavilion on July 8\, 2025\, at 7:00 pm. This sixty-piece ensemble\, under the direction of Sal LaRusso\, is made up of dedicated adult musicians from Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Known for their dynamic repertoire\, the band performs an array of music including classical\, concert band pieces\, pop\, marches\, and show tunes. \nFounded in 1977\, the Westport Community Band is committed to musical excellence and brings a wealth of experience to every performance. With a shared passion for challenging concert literature and ensemble performance\, the group provides both quality entertainment for audiences and a meaningful artistic outlet for its members. \nThis concert is part of the Levitt Pavilion’s 2025 Season\, which features more than 50 shows offered free of charge to the community. Lawn seating is first-come\, first-served\, and ticket holders may access the lawn one hour before showtime. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs\, outside food\, and drinks.
