SUMMARY:Unveiled: The Debut of Woodbury Ballet Theatre at Old Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:Woodbury Ballet Theatre (WBT)\, a new professional dance company from Woodbury Ballet\, will make its debut with an evening gala performance on Saturday\, October 24\, 2026\, at 7 pm at Old Town Hall in Woodbury. \nFounded by Co-Artistic Directors Christine Harris and Peter Nevin\, WBT is designed to bridge the gap between advanced ballet training and the professional dance world. The highly selective company provides emerging artists with individualized mentorship\, personalized coaching\, and meaningful opportunities to perform classical and contemporary repertoire alongside experienced directors and choreographers. \nThe inaugural season will continue with appearances in Woodbury Ballet’s annual production of The Nutcracker and spring performances featuring established and newly created choreography. The company aims to expand cultural opportunities in the region while helping talented dancers live\, work\, and create in Connecticut. \nChristine Harris brings extensive experience as a professional dancer\, ballet educator\, choreographer\, and arts administrator\, while Peter Nevin has performed leading roles in works including Swan Lake\, Giselle\, and The Sleeping Beauty and has taught and choreographed throughout Connecticut and beyond. \nUnveiled: The Debut of Woodbury Ballet Theatre will take place October 24 at 7 pm at Old Town Hall in Woodbury\, CT.
