DESCRIPTION:Explore the art of botanical illustration in a hands-on watercolor journaling workshop at Hollister House Garden on Friday\, April 18\, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Led by award-winning botanical artist Betsy Rogers-Knox\, this workshop will focus on tree studies\, with participants learning to observe and sketch tree trunks\, bark\, branches\, and buds before returning to the barn for step-by-step watercolor instruction. \nAll skill levels are welcome\, and beginners are especially encouraged to attend. Participants should bring a bag lunch; water and snacks will be provided. \nRequired materials include a journal and pen ($30)\, which should be purchased during registration unless previously acquired at a Hollister House journaling class. \nAdmission is $90 for Hollister House Garden members and $120 for non-members.
