Spend a Day at Foxwoods Resort Casino

The Big Night Entertainment Group (BNEG) invited us out to Foxwoods Resort casino to experience what they have to offer at Foxwoods. There is so much to do and you can make a “day trip” out of it or spend a long weekend at Foxwoods, having a nice meal at the restaurant, or just enjoying the landscape. But if you like me, and are always thinking in betting and gambling, you got to try this website https://www.sbobet-thai.com/roulette/ super easy to access just put some money there and start playing.

We started our tour at the Mexican themed Scorpion Bar with cocktails and a sampling of appetizers from their traditional style Mexican cuisine. If you like fiery cocktails be sure to try the El Diablo, a spicy blend of jalapeno infused Corzo Silver tequila, pineapple, and house margarita mix. It goes great with the guacamole and chips.

Come in during Happy Hour, Sunday through Thursday from 5:00  to 7:00 pm, and watch the wheel spin every half-hour to see what the “special” is that time period. They have specials several days of the week, ranging from $7 margaritas on Mondays to $7 quesadillas and $4 drafts on Thursdays.

The Sinister Red Sangria, served in a skull, pairs well with the Carne Asada “Philly” rolls.

If you are looking for a place to hear rock classics or remix rock ad roll, then The Scorpion Bar is the place for you, where several nights a week either live bands or DJs blast away with rock music.

During agreeable weather, step out onto their deck and view the scenic woods of Connecticut while enjoying drink and food.

Adventuring on, we headed over to The Fox Tower and the Red Lantern. The Red Lantern at Foxwoods is the twin sister of the restaurant with the same name in Boston, featuring a an open kitchen, full sushi counter and lounge area. Their Asian inspired menu has many fabulous offers to choose from, including a favorite of ours, the Lobster Rangoons; a crispy wonton stuffed full with lobster and cream cheese. While you are savoring the sushi you have chosen from the list of many, enjoy the Red Lantern Volcano, a flaming mixture of Bacardi Gold, Barcardi Select, 151, Galliano, orange, pineapple, and cherries. Enough for several people.

Every day of the week, except Saturday, there are weekly events (aka specials) to be had at the Red Lantern. Wednesdays is the day to partake in “Endless Sushi” where you can have all the sushi you want for only $25. Or show up on Thursdays and enjoy half price noodle dishes.

Time to have a little exercise to burn off the food we have enjoyed so far by heading to the High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge. No, you do not have to be a “high roller” to enjoy the fun of bowling or seating in the lounge pleasing your palate with food offerings from their menu and libations from their cocktail list, such as the “In the Money” a balanced blend of Grey Goose, fresh lime juice, and muddled fresh basil.

High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge offers full food and drink served at each lane of their 20 PBA approved regulation size bowling lanes. There are also billiard and shuffleboard tables available for use.

Come in Sunday through Thursday to take advantage of the specials they offer.  Monday you can bowl free all night while having $10 pitchers, $10 pizzas, $7 sangrias, or $7 appetizers. Maybe try a Thursday night where it is $1 bowling, $1 billiards, and $8 Belvedere cocktails. Be sure to check out one of the several lane-side packages they offer where you and up to 23 others can enjoy 2 hours of bowling, food, and drink.

Grab your kids and hit the lanes for a last hoorah before the week starts up with “Family Sundays Bowling: at High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge. The perfect family-friendly package allows groups of four to enjoy a pizza, basket of fries, pitcher of soda and ice cream, along with two games of bowling.

Finishing out the tour, we stopped in at the Shrine Nightclub. It delivers to its patrons well known DJs and celebrity hosts earning its ranking in the top 100 nightclubs in the world (5 years in a roll), while placing 35th among the most elite clubs in Vegas, NYC, LA and Miami. They have several VIP packages available to make your night even more enjoyable.

BNEG offers several venues at Foxwoods each being different and energetic allowing you to chose the one best suited for your night. Foxwoods also let us know their growing interest in opening new venues in Thailand, currently the local online competition offering no deposit bonus to their users is one of their only concerns as Thailand is an attractive destination so they do believe a good presence there is something important to the group.
