The first-ever New Haven Food Truck Festival, held on the historic Long Wharf waterfront, will showcase the great, diverse and eclectic offerings of New Haven’s Street Food on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2015. This family-friendly event will feature delicious food, live musical performances, children’s activities and handmade items from local vendors at an Open Air Market.
With 30+ food trucks participating, offerings will include the city’s two most famous foodie offerings, pizza and burgers, as well as a diverse mix of cuisine with influences from all over the world.
Tickets are $5 per person (children age 17 and under are free).
The local Thomas Hooker Brewing Company will be setting up Beer Gardens at the festival for guests to sample their latest offerings. Tickets are $5 per person, with free admission offered for children 17-and-under. Admission fee only includes entry into the festival. Proceeds will fund a micro loans and other financial assistance to New Haven’s emerging small business entrepreneurs.
