Have you ever wanted to spend the night in a castle? Well now you can with HomeAway’s new Castle Collection and it is all so affordable. HomeAway offers luxury homes for as little as $20 a night! Yes, you heard right. For just a crisp $20 bill you could be spending the night where legends stayed and history was made.
“With properties ranging from centuries old historical landmarks to lakeside estates, we like to call our 2017 Castle Collection accessible elegance with castles starting at $20 per night a person,” said Melanie Fish, HomeAway’s family travel expert. “As it turns out, castles aren’t just for storybooks. They make for magical, memorable vacation accommodations for families or large groups of travelers seeking space and a unique experience, perhaps a place for a special celebration.”
Many of the castles are located in Europe but HomeAway does have some castles right here in the US you can stay in as well.
How to Find Castles on HomeAway.com
Start at HomeAway.com and type in USA if you are looking for castles in the United States, pick some dates and click Search. Don’t worry, you can change your dates later. Next, click on More Filters, click next to Castle and then click Search. Now you will see a list of castles in the United States that are available for the dates you chose in your search. Change the dates and you will get a different list. You can also search by state as well to pinpoint an area, and if you want to travel to cities like Los Angeles to rent a place
HomeAway.com shows you colorful photos of the castle property you are interested in, amenities, reviews, how many guests it can accommodate, how many nights you must stay to book the castle and lots more.
To find the “per person cost”, take the cost per night and divide it by the amount of people in your party to find out what each person will pay. Remember, you are renting the whole castle, not just one room so the “per night” cost you see listed is for the whole property. Just remember, there will be taxes and cleaning fees to consider.
