DESCRIPTION:The artistic legacy of Lucio Fontana comes to the screen during Lucio Fontana: The Final Cut on Saturday\, October 10\, 2026\, from 1 to 3 pm at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook. \nPresented as part of Frames in Film\, a collaboration between The Kate and the Florence Griswold Museum\, the documentary traces Fontana’s artistic journey and his role in redefining space and material in 20th-century art. The film combines restored archival footage\, interviews with scholars and contemporary artists\, and on-site documentation of works held in major museums and collections. \nThe documentary was developed in cooperation with the Fondazione Lucio Fontana and offers an in-depth look at the artist’s work and influence through both historical and contemporary perspectives. \nAdmission is $17 for general admission and $15 for Florence Griswold Museum members.
