DESCRIPTION:The Danbury Concert Association continues its 2026–2027 concert season on Sunday\, October 25\, with a performance by the Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO) of Amsterdam. Known for its expressive chamber-orchestra sound\, the ensemble brings together leading musicians from one of the world’s renowned symphony orchestras for an intimate interpretation of orchestral masterworks. \nFounded in 2009\, Camerata RCO is recognized for its versatile approach to chamber music\, performing in configurations ranging from small ensembles to a full chamber orchestra. Its distinctive combination of wind and string instruments highlights intricate musical details\, subtle harmonies\, and the emotional depth of familiar works. The ensemble performs internationally\, appearing in major music centers including Vienna\, New York\, Tokyo\, Madrid\, Rome\, and Seoul. \nThe concert begins at 1 pm at Western Connecticut State University’s Visual and Performing Arts Center\, 43 Lake Avenue Extension\, Danbury\, CT.
