DESCRIPTION:A new holiday jukebox musical brings Christmas magic\, comedy and familiar songs to the stage with Santa Switch at the Thomaston Opera House this December. \nWhen Santa and Mrs. Claus decide to retire\, they begin searching for someone to take over the most important job in the world. Their chosen successor is a young New York advertising executive\, but when he turns down the opportunity\, the North Pole and the future of Christmas are suddenly at risk. \nSanta Switch features a festive mix of beloved Christmas favorites and popular contemporary songs. The musical includes “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus\,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas\,” along with songs such as “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong\, “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors and “Breakaway” by Kelly Clarkson. \nPerformances are scheduled for December 5\, 11\, 12\, 18 and 19\, 2026\, at 7 pm\, with matinee performances on December 6\, 13 and 20 at 2 pm.
