DESCRIPTION:Teens are invited to explore the bold world of Pop Art during the Intermediate Art Workshop: America in Pop Art on Saturday\, August 1\, 2026\, from 2:30 pm to 4 pm at the Mattatuck Museum. \nDesigned for ages 12 to 18\, this hands-on workshop examines American pop culture through the colorful and expressive techniques popularized by artist Andy Warhol. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the creativity of local student artists during the Milford Student Exhibit 2026\, on view at the Milford Arts Council from Tuesday through Friday\, June 17 through August 6. The seasonal exhibition showcases a variety of artwork created by talented student artists from the community and offers visitors the opportunity to support and appreciate emerging creative talent. \nGallery hours are 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. during June\, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. throughout July due to theatre camp\, and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. during August. \nThe exhibition concludes with an Award Reception and Artwork Pick-up on Thursday\, August 6\, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by Milford Pediatrics Group\, the reception will include the announcement of cash award winners selected by the judging panel. Selected artists may also be invited to display their work at the Milford Pediatrics office. \nThis family-friendly exhibit is part of the Milford Arts Council’s seasonal exhibitions.
