That same year\, she won the Premio Internazionale Antonio Mormone in Milan and was named a laureate of the Young Concert Artists Auditions in New York. \nLi has performed with leading orchestras and at chamber music festivals and celebrated venues around the world\, including Teatro alla Scala in Milan\, Verizon Hall at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Cultural Campus\, the Chicago Cultural Center\, and ACT Concert Hall in Hamamatsu\, Japan. Known for her technical brilliance and musical sensitivity\, she will perform works by Bach/Busoni\, Amy Beach\, Stravinsky\, and Qigang Chen\, showcasing a range of styles from precise and expressive passages to sweeping virtuosity. \nFollowing the performance\, audience members can stay for an opportunity to meet Li in person. She is a visiting scholar at the Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research at the University of Southern California Los Angeles. \nSiegel earned her PhD in history from the University of Southern California and has held postdoctoral fellowships at the Yale Fortunoff Video Archive and the Cedars-Sinai Program in the History of Medicine. She later served as an assistant professor and founding director of the Center for Medicine\, Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Cedars-Sinai\, where she helped develop interdisciplinary programming and mentorship for fellows\, including two international symposia. \nThe lecture will take place in the Dogwood Room at the Barone Campus Center.
