SUMMARY:Plant A Seed\, Read: 2026 Summer Reading Program at Bridgeport Public Library

Grand prizes for children\, teens\, and adults will be awarded when the program concludes in early September. \nBridgeport Public Library is also participating in the Connecticut Governor’s Summer Learning Challenge\, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. Families can visit any library branch to borrow recommended titles from the Governor’s Summer Reading Lists\, as well as access a wide selection of books through the library’s digital collections. \nWhether discovering a favorite new author\, completing reading challenges\, or attending engaging library programs\, participants are encouraged to spend the summer exploring everything the Bridgeport Public Library has to offer. \nFor more information or to register\, visit www.bportlibrary.org or stop by any Bridgeport Public Library branch.
