DESCRIPTION:The Annual Boothe Memorial Park Antique & Classic Car Show returns to Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford on Sunday\, May 18\, 2025\, from 9 am to 3 pm. Presented by the Port 5 Naval Veterans of Bridgeport\, this show features some of the finest antique and classic cars in a scenic park setting. \nTop vehicles will compete for 10 rings\, along with special awards and field trophies. Recognized as one of Connecticut’s 10 Best Auto Shows by BestThingsCT.com\, this event supports various veteran and community charities\, including Fidelco Guide Dogs\, Homes for the Brave\, the Veterans Food Pantry\, and the CT Burns Camp Foundation. \nThe first 200 show vehicles will receive dash plaques and goodie bags. Guests can enjoy live music\, food\, and a flag-raising ceremony to honor veterans. The Ladies Auxiliary will host a bake sale and raffle with themed baskets. Food offerings include egg sandwiches\, hot dogs\, hamburgers\, and other hot sandwiches. \nThe park will also host free activities from 1 pm to 4 pm\, including blacksmithing\, model trains\, an art show\, live music\, and guided tours of historic buildings. \nShow vehicle entry is $20\, with no cut-off year. The festival will feature food trucks\, artisan crafts\, business booths\, live music\, street performers\, rides\, games\, artwork\, and activities for all ages along Main Street in Stratford. \nOriginally launched in 2011 to continue the tradition of Stratford Day\, the festival highlights the many organizations\, services\, and programs available throughout the community while raising funds for local charitable initiatives. Proceeds from the event support programs including student scholarships\, food assistance efforts\, community service projects\, educational initiatives\, environmental programs\, and support services for seniors and families in need. \nVendor registration remains open through May 30\, based on availability\, with opportunities for nonprofit organizations\, businesses\, food vendors\, artisans\, and sponsors to participate.
