DESCRIPTION:EveryBody Dances at Yale Schwarzman Center in New Haven will host Dr. Bailey Holt-Gosselin on Sunday\, April 13\, 2025\, for an exciting\, Beyoncé-themed dance workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to learn beginner-friendly choreography inspired by Beyoncé’s iconic performances\, with heels optional. \nDr. Holt-Gosselin will lead attendees through warm-ups\, dance technique exercises\, and a fun\, empowering dance routine. This class is designed for dancers of all levels\, encouraging everyone to enjoy movement\, build confidence\, and celebrate body positivity in a supportive\, judgment-free atmosphere. \nDoors open at 10:30 am. Admission is free and open to the public. Participants ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. DESCRIPTION:EveryBody Dances returns to the Yale Schwarzman Center with a contemporary modern dance masterclass led by Lynn Peterson on May 4\, 2025. This series brings together local and guest dance artists to lead classes in a variety of styles including jazz\, hip hop\, salsa\, modern\, and more. Classes are held in the Dance Studio and are open to all community members. \nThis week’s session\, taught by Lynn Peterson\, is designed for dancers ages 15 and up with prior experience. Peterson is the co-founder of SYREN Modern Dance and has spent over two decades performing and teaching in the U.S. and abroad.
