The performance marks the grand finale of Stephenson’s season-long residency with the HSO. \nThe program also features John Adams’ Doctor Atomic Symphony (2007)\, a work based on his opera about physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and the moral complexities surrounding the development of the atomic bomb.
