SUMMARY:ADA Community Engagement Meeting at Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center
DESCRIPTION:The Town of Bethel will host two in-person ADA Community Engagement Meetings to gather public feedback about the accessibility of Town facilities and parks. The meetings will provide an opportunity for community members to share their experiences\, access preferences and priorities as the Town develops its ADA Transition Plan. \nWT Group AEC\, LLC Accessibility Practice will review key ADA requirements\, discuss the role of community feedback in establishing retrofit priorities\, share observations of accessibility barriers at Town sites and discuss next steps for Bethel’s transition plan. \nBoth meetings will take place on Tuesday\, October 6\, 2026\, in Meeting Room A at the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center\, located at 1 School Street in Bethel. The first session runs from 1 pm to 2:30 pm\, followed by a second session from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. \nRegistration is requested.
