Miwa has also performed or recorded with notable artists including Sheila Jordan\, Slide Hampton\, Arturo Sandoval\, Esperanza Spalding and Terri Lyne Carrington. \nMiwa’s musical journey began in Japan\, where she was classically trained before auditioning for Berklee College of Music in the late 1990s.
