DESCRIPTION:Music Theatre of Connecticut wraps up its 38th season with the Tony Award-winning musical La Cage Aux Folles\, running April 4 through 19\, 2025. With a mix of dazzling drag performances\, heartfelt storytelling\, and infectious humor\, this beloved production celebrates love\, identity\, and family in glamorous style. \nSet in St. Tropez\, the story follows Georges and Albin\, longtime partners who run a drag nightclub where Albin performs as the fabulous Zaza. Their peaceful life is turned upside down when Georges’ son announces his engagement to the daughter of a conservative politician. As the couple scrambles to present a “respectable” front to their future in-laws\, the result is a joyful cascade of comedy\, confusion\, and unforgettable musical numbers. \nPerformances will take place on Fridays at 8 pm\, Saturdays at 2 pm and 8 pm\, and Sundays at 2 pm.
