World Tai Chi Day Symposium (Linsly-Chittenden Hall)

The World Tai Chi Day: Symposium will be held at Linsly-Chittenden Hall in New Haven on Saturday, April 27th.

The World Tai Chi Day in New Haven symposium, organized by Yale-China Association, Aiping Tai Chi Center, and the city of New Haven’s Art, Culture, and Tourism department, will present the latest in tai chi research. Keynote speaker Chenchen Wang, MD, MSc (director of the Center for Complementary and Integrative Medicine at Tufts Medical Center) will present her research on the use of tai chi to treat chronic musculoskeletal pain. Additional speakers include Edward Rippel, MD (doctor of internal medicine) and Linda Honan, PhD, APRN (professor of the Yale School of Nursing). This symposium, generously sponsored by Quinnipiac Internal Medicine PC, the Blake Hotel, Yale’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and several Yale University departments and New Haven businesses, is free and open to the public.
