Wintertide at Mystic Seaport Museum

Mystic Seaport Museum will celebrate the season with Wintertide from February 15 to 17, featuring three days of festive winter activities. Visitors can meet reindeer, watch winter working dogs in action, and enjoy ice sculpture demonstrations. Families can take part in games, crafts, a snowman bounce house, and live kid-friendly music.

Those looking to warm up can attend a show at the Treworgy Planetarium, enjoy a hot cocoa or an adult beverage at Schaefer’s Spouter Tavern, or explore the museum’s exhibitions. Whether enjoying the crisp air by the waterfront or relaxing by a fire, guests will find plenty of ways to make winter memories.

This event takes place at the north end of the museum while the south end is closed for the season. Visitors should enter at the Thompson Exhibition Building.

Admission is free for members. Non-member tickets are $25 for adults and $18 for youth ages 4–12. Children 3 and under enter for free.
