Winterfest 2025 at Ski Sundown

Join Ski Sundown on January 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for Winterfest 2025, a celebration of winter fun for the whole family! Dress up in your favorite winter costume, funny hat, or helmet cover and embrace the spirit of the season. This festive event is free for anyone with a Ski Sundown lift ticket or pass.
Winterfest activities include:
- 11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Face painting with Valentine the Clown.
- 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Live ice sculpting demonstration by Ice Matters.
- Penguin Coloring Contest with prizes for winners in four age categories (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-11, and 12-adult).
- Meet and greet with Pip, the Ski Sundown mascot.
- Seasonal specials from the Batchy Brew outdoor coffee trailer.
The Penguin Coloring Contest kicks off in early January, with entries available for download or pickup at the Welcome Center starting January 1st. Submit your entry by 11:00 am on January 24, 2025, for a chance to win! Winners will be announced on social media and contacted via email for prize pickup, with finalists’ artwork displayed inside the lodge.
