Winter Lecture Series – Great Mountain Forest at The D.M. Hunt Library

Dr. Garcia Nunez will present at the Great Mountain Forest Winter Lecture Series at The D.M. Hunt Library in Falls Village on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. Dr. Nunez, whose research includes work at Harvard University, Universidad de Alicante, and Universidad Nacional de Colombia, specializes in tropical terrestrial ecosystems, conservation, and restoration. His lecture will highlight the connections between sustainable development, reforestation, and the impact of global changes in land use and climate.
