Connecticut’s “must-see” lighted holiday attraction returns! The Winter Lantern Festival at Lyman Orchards kicks off on November 15, 2024, and runs through February 9, 2025. Stroll through a spectacular outdoor display of over 1,000 handcrafted Chinese lanterns illuminating the night with dazzling scenes of animals, holiday motifs, and garden sculptures. Perfect for families, couples, and friends looking to experience the magic of the season, complete with live entertainment, photo ops, and seasonal treats like hot cider, hot chocolate, and Lyman Orchards’ famous apple cider donuts.
Open every Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with last entry at 8:30 p.m. Special holiday hours run from December 20 through January 1, with the festival open daily. Enjoy a pre-festival dinner at 1741 Pub & Grill, just steps away (closed on holidays).
Admission: Tickets must be purchased in advance online.
