An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until December 21, 2024
The Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven will host Who Sleighed Santa? A Holly Trolley Musical Mystery this Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21. This holiday-themed, live event transforms a festive trolley ride into an interactive musical whodunnit filled with comedy, carols, and audience participation.
Limited to just 40 passengers per ride, the experience begins with a pre-ride orientation where the plot unfolds, leading to a 30-45 minute immersive mystery aboard a historic trolley. Guests can expect plenty of laughter, embarrassing singalongs, and holiday thrills as they work to uncover the culprit. Prizes will be awarded, adding a competitive twist to the evening’s festivities.
The event features two rides per night at 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Admission is $29 per person, available in advance only. A limited number of VIP tickets are offered at $49, which include priority boarding, choice of seating, and a souvenir logo shirt. The experience is open to all ages, though parents should note that younger children who believe in Santa may not enjoy the mystery’s lighthearted humor. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Who Sleighed Santa? is produced by Charles F. Rosenay!!! and sponsored by East Haven’s Transilvania Restaurant. The Shore Line Trolley Museum, located at 17 River Street in East Haven, is the oldest continuously operated suburban trolley line in the United States and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
