Westport Winter Farmers Market Party at Gilbertie’s Herbs & Garden Center

The Westport Farmers’ Market invites friends and families to the biggest opening-day market party of the year on Saturday, November 16th from 10 am to 2 pm at Gilbertie’s Herbs and Garden Center. Join us for lawn games, to celebrate the transition from a phenomenally successful summer market to the beginning of the best indoor winter market in the area (if not the country!).

Food trucks will set up outside the garden center for adults and children alike, while adult beverages will flow. The party will feature live music so you’ll want to get there early and stay all day.

Of course, this season’s bevy of vendors will not disappoint. In addition to many of your favorites, the winter market will introduce new vendors and sponsor a program of scheduled vendor presentations.

“We’re stepping it up for this year’s winter market!” said Lori Cochran-Dougall, “We are celebrating our mission as a true community hub with food, activities, and education about local farmers and ingredients. What better way to do so than with a party?”
