Westport Community Band at Levitt Pavilion

The Westport Community Band returns to Levitt Pavilion for an evening of live music on July 7, 2026, showcasing a diverse repertoire performed by talented musicians from across Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

Founded in 1977, the Westport Community Band is made up of adult musicians representing a wide range of professions and musical backgrounds. United by a shared passion for concert band music, the ensemble is dedicated to exploring challenging repertoire, refining musical skills, and providing enjoyable performances for audiences throughout the region.

Under the direction of Sal LaRusso, former director of bands at Weston High School, the 60-piece ensemble performs an eclectic mix of concert band works, Broadway favorites, marches, pop selections, and classical compositions. Their performances highlight both the versatility of the concert band tradition and the talent of local musicians.

The concert begins at 7 pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, with doors opening at 6 pm. The performance will take place at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts, 40 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. Free tickets may be reserved in advance online and may also be available through the Levitt Pavilion box office beginning two hours before showtime, subject to availability. Season members receive priority access to a limited reserve of tickets when public allocations have been exhausted.
