Walk-In Tour: Norman Rockwell – From Camera to Canvas at the New Britain Museum of American Art

Visitors can explore the artistry of Norman Rockwell through a docent-led tour of the special exhibition Norman Rockwell: From Camera to Canvas at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Tours take place every Sunday at 1 pm from October 12 through February 15.

Each tour offers insight into Rockwell’s creative process, tracing how he transformed photographic references into his iconic painted scenes that capture the essence of American life. Capacity is limited to the first 20 people, and sign-ups are available at the Museum’s Front Desk upon arrival.
