VSG 1st Thursdays Poetry/Acoustic Open Mic at Vicinanza Studios & Gallery

On the first Thursday of every month from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, Vicinanza Studios & Gallery (VSG) in Southbury hosts a Poetry and Acoustic Open Mic night, inviting local poets, spoken word artists, and acoustic musicians to share their talents. Running from March 7, 2024, through December 4, 2025, this monthly event provides a warm, creative space for both seasoned performers and newcomers to the open mic scene. Sign-up begins at 6:30 pm.
Each participant is given up to 5 minutes to perform, with a chance for a second round if time permits, allowing performers to share their work and connect with the community. VSG’s Open Mic night fosters a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, making it a new home for poetry lovers in Southbury and beyond.
