Van Trip: America 250: Two Revolutions at Mattatuck Museum

History and innovation come together during the Van Trip: America 250: Two Revolutions hosted by the Mattatuck Museum on Thursday, June 25, from 8:30 am to 7 pm. The day-long excursion to Cambridge, Massachusetts will explore both the nation’s revolutionary past and the technological advancements shaping its future.
Participants will visit the Longfellow House–Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site, where George Washington planned military strategy during the siege of Boston and where poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow later lived and worked. The trip will then continue to the MIT Museum for an exploration of emerging technologies and the growing impact of artificial intelligence on modern society.
The experience offers a thoughtful look at how revolutionary ideas have shaped America across generations, from the founding of the nation to the innovations influencing the future.
