United States Coast Guard Band Holiday Matinee

The United States Coast Guard Band Matinee performance on December 16th offers playful renditions of holiday favorites, while the evening program includes both introspective work and up-beat Yuletide hits featuring soprano soloist, Musician 1st Class Megan Weikleenget.

This special evening performance features the artistry of soprano soloist Musician 1st Class Megan Weikleenget performing heartwarming holiday favorites. These include: “Gesu Bambino,” “Deck the Halls,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “My Favorite Things,” the Phil Spector classic “Christmas” and “What Christmas Means to Me.” Also on the program is Morten Lauridsen’s moving “O Magnum Mysterium,” “Russian Christmas Music” by Alfred Reed, and “Auld Lang Syne” arranged by Musician 1st Class Robert Langslet.
