Tyrone Shoelaces Concert at Milford Arts Council

A high-energy blend of reggae, funk, rock, swing, bluegrass, disco, and dub comes to the stage on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 7 pm at the Milford Arts Council, 40 Railroad Avenue South, Milford, CT 06460. Doors open at 7 pm.

Led by songwriter Chuck Chesler, Tyrone Shoelaces is known for its genre-defying sound and electrifying live performances described as a grooving surge of soul and energy. With a core lineup that has played together for more than a decade, the band thrives on the creative interplay of musicians from different generations and musical backgrounds. Their shows move fluidly from deep, danceable rhythms to bold, improvisational peaks filled with experimental edge.

Since its inception, Tyrone Shoelaces has continued to evolve musically, celebrating its 10-year anniversary during the pandemic, releasing its fourth record in 2022, and following up with Pachamama, a genre-spanning collection centered on gratitude and Mother Earth. New singles and an EP released in March 2025 further showcase the band’s expansive sound and forward momentum.
