Truckyard Touch-A-Truck at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley

The Shoppes at Farmington Valley will welcome families for a day of fun and exploration with its Truckyard Touch-A-Truck event to be held this Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The event, which is being held in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, will benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and give kids the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of cars and trucks including police vehicles, fire trucks and construction equipment, as well as meet the first responders, police officers and construction workers who operate them.

Families are encouraged to climb aboard, honk the horn, and snap lots of photos with their favorite vehicle.  The event will also feature a variety of on-site entertainment including music, a bounce house, oversized board games and food trucks with bites available for purchase.

Attendees are encouraged to register at Truckyard Touch-A-Truck’s Eventbrite page.  The event will be located in the parking lot behind Barnes and Noble.
