Tour | “The View from Here 2025” at Yale Schwarzman Center

The Yale Center for British Art and Yale Schwarzman Center will host a special student-led “Meet the Artist” tour of The View from Here 2025 on August 5, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The event invites the public to engage with the exhibition through the perspectives of the young photographers whose work is on display.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet current and former student participants in the program, hear firsthand about their creative processes, and explore the role photography has played in shaping their artistic journeys. Tours are free and open to the public, though advance registration is recommended. All tours will begin inside the Rotunda at the corner of College and Grove Streets in New Haven, Connecticut.

The exhibition features the work of thirteen student-photographers from the Greater New Haven area, created during the fall 2024 and winter 2025 sessions of The View from Here, now in its fourth year. The program offers students hands-on experience with photographic practice and history through mentorship and direct access to museum resources and professionals.
