Thursdays on the Dock: Cherry Pie at the Connecticut River Museum

Thursdays on the Dock continues its summer tradition on July 31, 2025, with a lively performance by Cherry Pie from 5:30 to 7:15 PM. This popular waterfront music series has been a staple along the shoreline for 16 years, offering free weekly concerts with a beautiful sunset backdrop over the Connecticut River.

Cherry Pie, led by vocalist Jilian Grey and drummer Ric Haddad, delivers an irresistible mix of swing, rockabilly, Latin rhythms, and sultry ballads. Joined by Lou Bocciarelli on bass and Paul John Tautkus on guitar, the group has become a local favorite, known for their spirited performances and retro flair. Concertgoers can expect an upbeat, dance-friendly atmosphere perfect for a summer evening.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. A cash bar will be available, offering beer and wine, and food options include Porky Pete’s for savory bites and Deep River Ice for sweet treats. A Museum-branded tumbler purchased in the gift shop includes a beverage coupon and discounts on refills.

Admission to the concert is free, with a “pass-the-hat” donation encouraged to support the continuation of the series. In case of inclement weather, updates will be posted on the museum’s website.
