Thursdays on the Dock: Cherry Pie at the Connecticut River Museum
Spend a summer evening by the Connecticut River with live music from Cherry Pie during Thursdays on the Dock on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Connecticut River Museum.
Celebrating its 17th season, Thursdays on the Dock is a beloved shoreline tradition that brings free outdoor concerts to the Museum’s waterfront lawn. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, relax by the river, and enjoy live music as the sun sets over the scenic Connecticut River.
Cherry Pie delivers an energetic mix of swing, rockabilly, Latin rhythms, and classic ballads, creating a lively dance party with a nostalgic twist. Led by vocalist Jilian Grey, the band also features drummer Rich Dart, bassist Lou Bocciarelli, and guitarist and vocalist Michael Savino. Known for their popular performances at the Griswold Inn and other shoreline venues, Cherry Pie has built a loyal following with its upbeat sound and engaging performances.
