The Wish House 12 Days of Christmas in West Cornwall

The Twelve Days of Christmas in West Cornwall runs from December 12, 2020 through January 3, 2021. Windows will be on display day and night, outdoors,and spread safely apart within easy walking distance from one another.

The Wish House will provide maps for those who want to streamline their visit and will offer token prizes to children who use their sleuthing skills to find each display

Artists create one-of-kind holiday display in West Cornwall. West Cornwall is known by many for its iconic covered bridge. This year,a group of artists is adding another attraction to the quaint town for the holiday season: walking tour that turns the small village of West Cornwall into a virtual holiday-themed art gallery.

Local upscale gift shop The Wish House, will act as a starting point for visitors by providing maps of the displays for those who don’t want to go hunting, as well as token prizes for young ones who can find each display without a map.

Each artist is putting their own spin on the ‘gifts’ in the timeless song “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”  Think “8 Maids a Milking,” and “Three French Hens.”

They are creating an outdoor installation of 12 works throughout the picturesque village. The experience is designed to be a kind of treasure hunt through the illuminated town streets  with the installations tucked away inside the windows of local businesses and having to be sleuthed out by visitors. The windows containing the works will all be within easy walking distance of each other.  It’s a perfect way to get infuse some holiday spirit into Covid-19 restricted environment.

The Wish House is a fun and unique shop that features eclectic gifts, clothing, and home accents made by craftsman from around the world and just down the road.  We invite you to get inspired in a colorful ambience .The Souterrain Gallery is a fixture of the Wish House that features artwork by local artists. We are located in the quaint village of West Cornwall just a short walk from the famous Covered Bridge.
