The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight at Garde Arts Center

The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight brings a dramatic fusion of classical instrumentation and rock intensity to the Garde Arts Center. Performed in a candlelit setting, this ensemble of 14 classical musicians creates a striking contrast between delicate orchestral textures and powerful, distorted sound. The experience blends atmosphere and energy as the orchestra reimagines music by well-known bands such as Metallica, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, Rage Against the Machine, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Guns N’ Roses, Evanescence, Papa Roach, the Cranberries, and others. This performance offers an immersive mix of rock and classical styles in a uniquely theatrical environment.

The show will take place on December 2, 2025, at 8 pm at the Garde Arts Center in New London. Ticket release dates vary by membership level, and strobe lighting effects may be used during the performance.
