The Mystic River Oyster Festival at the Mystic Seaport Museum

The Mystic River Oyster Festival will be held on September 28th from 11 am to 5 pm at the Mystic Seaport Museum.
Join us for a day of “all things oyster” at our third Mystic River Oyster Festival on Saturday, September 28. Gates open at 9 a.m. and the festival starts at 11 a.m.
This festival offers an opportunity for Museum visitors to learn about the oyster fishery and to meet and support area growers. Oysters from Watch Hill Oyster, Fishers Island Oyster, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Stonington Farms Shellfish, and many more will be on hand. Sample delicious regional oysters: vendors will be selling 3 for $5 oysters. A cash bar with local craft brews and wine will be available.
Plus, enjoy live music, guest speakers, demonstrations, children’s activities, and, of course, a shucking contest!
