The Mattatuck Museum Presents: A Grateful Gathering: A Benefit Concert with the Mystic Dead

Live music and community fundraising come together during A Grateful Gathering: A Benefit Concert with Mystic Dead on June 11, 2026 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at the Mattatuck Museum, 144 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.

Known as Connecticut’s premier tribute to Grateful Dead, Mystic Dead recreates the legendary band’s signature blend of classic songs, improvisation, and extended live jams in a performance celebrating the enduring spirit of the iconic group.

The benefit concert supports the Mattatuck Museum’s education and public programming, which serves more than 17,000 children and families annually throughout the Greater Waterbury community. Proceeds help fund programs designed to expand cultural access, educational opportunities, and community partnerships.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the event.

The concert is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Psychedelic Splendor: The Concert Art of AJ Masthay & Helen Kennedy, on view in the Munger Gallery from June 13 through September 20, 2026.

General admission tickets are $50. Patron tickets are $125 and include two complimentary drinks, early concert access, and an original exhibition poster by AJ Masthay and Helen Kennedy of Zazzcorp.
