The Little Red Hen by WonderSpark Puppets at Betsy Paterson Square

Families can enjoy a lively and interactive performance of The Little Red Hen by WonderSpark Puppets on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at Betsy Paterson Square in Downtown Storrs. Presented as part of the Ballard Institute’s 2025 Summertime Saturday Puppet Show Series, this free outdoor puppet show brings to life the classic tale of a hardworking hen with the help of a spirited and engaging puppet cast.

This family-friendly production invites children to move, call out, and laugh as they help the Hen on her bread-making journey. The show promises fun and excitement for all ages, combining playful storytelling with audience participation.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or portable chairs. In case of inclement weather, the performance will be relocated indoors to the Ballard Institute Theater at 1 Royce Circle in Downtown Storrs.
