The Last Five Years at Center Stage Theatre

Center Stage Theatre in Shelton will present The Last Five Years from April 4 through April 13, 2025. This poignant and innovative musical by Jason Robert Brown tells the story of a young couple navigating the highs and lows of love in New York City.

Performed with a live ensemble, The Last Five Years follows Jamie and Cathy over the course of their five-year relationship—Jamie telling his story from the beginning, and Cathy from the end. The characters’ timelines intersect only once, during their wedding in the middle of the show, offering a unique and emotionally resonant structure.

Performances take place at Center Stage Theatre, located at 54 Grove Street, Shelton, CT. Showtimes are Friday, April 4 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, April 5 at 7:30 pm; Sunday, April 6 at 2 pm; Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 pm; Friday, April 11 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, April 12 at 7:30 pm; and Sunday, April 13 at 2 pm.
