The Key to Adventure Story Time at R.J. Julia Booksellers

Families can enjoy a special story time featuring The Key to Adventure, a new children’s book from the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, at R.J. Julia Independent Booksellers in Middletown on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm.

Museum Educators Rebecca Gavin (author) and Mya Concepcion (illustrator) will lead this engaging reading of Prudence’s magical time-traveling adventure through Connecticut history. The story follows Prudence as she discovers the power of imagination, friendship, and discovery while exploring the past through the lens of the Connecticut Museum’s collection.
