The History of the Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum Collection at Fairfield University

Curator Niamh O’Sullivan will present a special lecture on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. exploring the development of the Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum collection. Speaking from her base in Dublin, O’Sullivan will offer insights into the origins, growth, and significance of the collection, which was formerly housed at Quinnipiac University in Hamden before its closure in 2022. The museum is slated to reopen at a new location in Fairfield, Connecticut.
