The High Kings Rocky Road Tour at Garde Arts Center
Ireland’s leading folk group The High Kings bring their Rocky Road Tour to the Garde Arts Center on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 7:30 pm. The concert takes place at the Garde Arts Center, 325 State Street, New London, CT 06320, and is co-presented by the Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center and the Garde Arts Center.
Known as global ambassadors of Irish folk music, The High Kings blend traditional ballads with a modern musical edge, bringing stories of Ireland’s heritage to audiences around the world. Their live performances are celebrated for rich vocal harmonies, energetic instrumentation, and a deep connection to the storytelling traditions of Irish music.
The Rocky Road Tour follows a series of recent milestones for the band, including a sold-out world tour in 2024 and continued international success in 2025. Their music has reached millions of listeners each week through streaming platforms, and they have appeared on major television programs including Good Morning America, The View, and The Today Show. The group’s songs “The Rocky Road to Dublin” and “Go Lassie Go” were also featured in the soundtrack for the film Sinners, curated by Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer Ludwig Göransson.
Over the years, The High Kings have performed on renowned stages around the world, including Glastonbury Festival, the Isle of Wight Festival, Times Square in New York City, and Trafalgar Square in London for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
