The Connecticut River from the Air Book Talk / Signing

The Connecticut River from the Air book talk and signing will take place at the Connecticut River Museum in Essex, Connecticut on September 18, 2018 at 5:30 pm. Join us as we learn about the aerial adventures of Jerry Roberts and Tom Walsh as they delve into the four major regions of the river. With breathtaking photography and historical backgrounds of towns along the River from the source to the Sound, you will feel as though you are in the cockpit!
The book displays stunning photographs by pilot Captain Tom Walsh with narration by historian Jerry Roberts. Together they create an impressive account of the 410 miles of the Connecticut River. This event is free and the program begins at 5:30 pm.
Jerry Roberts is a 34-year museum professional with a background as an exhibit designer, writer, documentarian, and museum executive. He has served as Vice President in charge of exhibits at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum in New York City, Executive Director of the Connecticut River Museum in Essex, CT, and Executive Director of the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, CT.
Captain Tom Walsh is a former US Marine Corps fighter pilot who is now a senior international Captain for a major US airline. Through his company, Shoreline Aerial Photography, he has photographed thousands of sites all over the US for both major corporations and private individuals.
