The Battle of Ridgefield at New Haven Museum

Author Keith Marshall Jones III will present a lecture, “The Battle of Ridgefield,” at the New Haven Museum on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 6 pm. Jones will share insights from his new book on the only inland Revolutionary War battle fought in Connecticut, which occurred on April 27, 1777. His discussion will highlight Benedict Arnold’s pivotal role and how local militias confronted British forces in a critical but often overlooked moment of the Revolutionary War. This free NH250 event will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live. Registration is encouraged.
