The Addams Family: YOUNG@PART at Center Stage Theatre

From November 7 to 10, 2024, Center Stage Theatre in Shelton brings The Addams Family: YOUNG@PART to life with a 60-minute, professionally staged production featuring talented young actors from grades 5 to 8. This family-friendly musical adaptation of the Broadway hit celebrates the quirky charm of the Addams family, complete with unforgettable characters and a spooky, fun storyline.

In this version, Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a kind, smart young man from a “normal” family—unbeknownst to her parents. She confides in her father, Gomez, and asks him to keep it a secret from Morticia. The family dynamics shift on a fateful night as they welcome Wednesday’s boyfriend and his family to dinner, with surprises awaiting everyone.

Before each show, venture into the Haunted Hallway, a 25-foot, thrill-filled journey with eerie (yet age-appropriate) surprises, where you can collect treats from mysterious characters in the shadows. Perfect for the whole family, this pre-show experience adds a delightful, spooky touch to your visit.
