The 44th Annual Benefit Auction at Florence Griswold Museum

An evening inspired by the artists and creative spirit of the Lyme Art Colony returns with The 44th Annual Benefit Auction on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 6 to 10 pm at the Florence Griswold Museum.

The benefit celebrates the artistic legacy of the museum and the artists who discovered Miss Florence’s home at the turn of the 20th century. Guests can experience renowned artists creating new works, enjoy artfully curated cuisine and cocktails, and bid on original artwork and once-in-a-lifetime experiences while supporting the Museum’s education and outreach programs.

Rather than a traditional sit-down dinner, the evening features abundant hors d’oeuvres, food stations and cocktails throughout the Museum grounds. Gourmet Galley, the catering team behind the Museum’s Café Flo, will provide the food, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

The event encourages artistic and creative attire, with black tie optional. The 44th Annual Benefit Auction takes place at the Florence Griswold Museum, 96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, Connecticut 06371. Additional event information is available at Florence Griswold Museum event page.
