Teen Tuesday: Word/Image at Yale Center for British Art

Teens ages 13–19 are invited to spend the afternoon exploring art, creativity, and community at Yale Center for British Art on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 3 to 3:45 pm. This Teen Tuesday session takes inspiration from the artist William Blake, who combined poetry, painting, and printmaking to create illuminated works that reflected the changing times. Participants will look closely at pieces in the special exhibition William Blake: Burning Bright and create their own mixed-media prints.

Snacks and bus passes will be provided, creating a welcoming and supportive space for teens to connect, express themselves, and enjoy making art together.
