Teen Tuesday: Rethink the Everyday at Yale Center for British Art

Teens can spend an afternoon exploring creativity at the Yale Center for British Art during this month’s Teen Tuesday. Inspired by the exhibition Hew Locke: Passages, participants will create a mixed-media collage that challenges traditional narratives of power. Locke, a Guyanese British artist, is known for combining collage, photography, drawing, and found objects to craft artworks that provoke thought and reframe history.

This program invites teenagers ages thirteen to nineteen to engage with art, connect with peers, and enjoy an open, creative space. Along with hands-on artmaking, guests can explore the galleries, share ideas, and build community in a welcoming setting. Snacks and bus passes will be provided.
